1. Rates include:
Unlimited mileage. Full Insurance, Civil Liability
and all taxes.
2. Not included:
The fuel is not included in the price of the car-rental.
When you collect your car it will be delivered with
a full tank of fuel which will be payable locally.
At the end of the hire, the vehicles should be returned
as empty as possible. There is no refund on fuel
left in the tank.
3. Payment Terms:
Exclusively with Credit Card Visa or similar, on
collection of the vehicle.
4. Insurance cover:
Injury to third persons, damage caused to hire vehicle,
civil responsibility, cover of driver and occupants,
fire and theft.
5. Not included in the insurance
cover:
Damage to tyres and wheel discs, burns in the interior
of the vehicle, damage caused to the underneath
of the vehicle, personal effects from inside the
vehicle, traffic fines, loss or damage to car keys
(replacement cost between 60 € and 100 €
depending on model of vehicle).
In case of accident, where the hirer is responsible,
an excess of a maximum of 300 € to cover the
costs of towing charges and garaging of the vehicle.
The company reserves the right to apply an excess
charge on the insurance coverage of the vehicle
depending on the model between 300 € an a maximum
of 600 which must be reflected on the hire contract.
The company will not except any responsibility for
any loss of time caused to the hirer in case of
brake-downs to the vehicle.
6. Negligence:
Victoria Rent a Car will not be held responsible
for damages to the rental vehicle caused by negligence
by the hirer or driver of the vehicle. This includes
driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol
and drugs.
7. Accidents:
In the event of any mechanical difficulties or accidents
involving your car, it is important that details
are reported to your local office within 24 hours.
You must also complete an accident form, supplied
in the car, and it must be given to the nearest
local office to your location. Local police should
also be notified in the case of accidents and a
signed police report obtained. Full details of third
parties should also be obtained.
8. Driving restrictions:
It is not authorised to drive the vehicle out of
Spain (including Ceuta, Melilla, the Baleares islands
or the Canary islands). The hirer undertakes no
to transport animals or any other object which may
stain or damage the upholstery.
9.Documents required:
All people wishing to drive a Victoria Rent a Car
vehicle must produce (at the time of rental) the
original copy of a full valid driving licence which
has been held for a minimum of 2 years. Also the
original valid DNI or passport and valid credit
card (Visa, Master Card or similar).
10. Age restrictions:
Minimum age 24. However, check with Victoria Rent
a Car.
11. Period of hire:
Rental days are based on 24 hours. Delivery and
collection at the airports is free charge. If the
difference between the return of the vehicle is
superior to more than 4 hours an extra day will
be charged. If the hirer wishes to extend the hire
of the vehicle, the hirer must contact the nearest
local office 24 hours before the end of the present
contract. No refunds are payable on vehicles rented
for a period of less than 7 days.
12. Reservations:
All reservations will be confirmed within 24 hours
from the date of the booking. It is important to
produce all the information required in part 3 of
the reservation. The company reserve the right to
supply any model in the same group, or if not available,
then an automatic up grade will be given.
The vehicle will be reserved on the date and arrival
time shown. Failure to collect the vehicle at the
appointed place and time may result in the cancellation
of the reservation. No refund will be given in this
case. If in the case of delays please contact the
company in any of their offices.
13.General conditions:
Rentals will be subject to the terms and conditions
and laws of the country in which the vehicle is
hired and a rental agreement will need to be signed
accepting these conditions on collection of the
vehicle All the General Conditions are printed on
the back of the hire contract.
14. Customer relations:
All complains related to the hire of the vehicle
must be reported to any of the local office within
a period of 24 hours. The company has a 24 hour
emergency number which can be contacted at any time
during the hire of the vehicle.
